We chose honduran mahogany with purple heart for the hand carved neck along with poplar, purple heart, bloodwood & myrtle for the body. We carefully carve the neck to body joint to allow access to the higher frets.
(SOLD) Still in production, our Yeshua Tiger has taken a different turn with adding purple heart binding and a chocolate brown stain on the top. The body is solid walnut with a back cap of claro walnut. $4100 including case and shipping in the continental USA.
The neck for Yeshua Tiger features an Indian Rosewood fretboard, tiger maple binding and is solid walnut. Our headstock has the bopat logo lasered into a matching piece of laminated maple and sports a 10 degree scarf joint.
The natural beauty of walnut is beyond words for some. We wanted to show two sides of the walnut species; the raw & rough (the body) and the distinguished texture and colors of claro walnut (cap).
